This naturalized lemon grows wild in subtropical Australia. They are very hardy, have a thick skin with a true lemon flavour. Grows to about 4m in a sunny position. The skin makes a good zest for cooking.

It is tough, grown on its own rootstock this tree gets bigger than grafted varieties and has some drought tolerance, we get fruit all year, even during drought. The fruit is a good quality lemon for home use. I have seedlings for swap.
