Dwarf Lemonade

I chose this plant because my parents had one and they really enjoyed it. I was devastated when I received my tree as it was very dry and the leaves were coming off but I planted it straight away and watered it well. Now it has new shoots growing and is looking very healthy. Couldn't be happier with it.

Would be interesting in growing one of these in a large pot on the deck or in the yard, I don't think I have the room in the yard to provide it with enough light so maybe a half wine barrel might do

It hasn't died yet but I am buying another from Daley's as I never have been happy with this one. It has looked spindly from the start. I will give this to a neighbour who can't afford to buy their own and hope they can nurse it back to health??

I like lemonade fruit as it has a more sweet flesh than lemons in general and makes a good refreshing drink when cold. Many years ago I remember purchasing this fruit at a selected fruit and vegie shop at Clayfield in Qld. I have never seen this fruit ...

The description of this fruit sounded intriguing. I love the sour/sweet taste of kumquats so this could be yummy. I bought the dwarf from so it can stay in a pot beside my Meyer Lemon. It already has flowers.

The fruit is so sweet it really does taste like a lemonade - tangy and with a definite 'lemon flavour', but sweet enough to drink as is - YUM!

Still only a young tree.  Gets a fair bit of wind and salt air.  A bit leggy and plan to prune back this year to increase density a bit.  Very happy.  About half a dozen fruit last season but quite a few more on tree now.  Seems to be very hardy -...
