Botanical Name: Olea europaea
Description

Very large table fruit (12g) with a small seed. These olive do need to be pickled with care and correctly in order for them to be delicious as they can be tough and fibrous if prepared incorrectly. They are pickled when green. The jumbo kalamata is not related to the Kalamata olive.

Not very happy in the pot. Just sitting there, not really growing.Have increased feed and water and hope it will start growing.

Hi. I have this tree planted in the ground in full sun and it is indeed a very slow growing tree but doing well. Watch out for 2 problems - small black mites which damage leaves, and occasionally a large caterpillar which can strip leaves very quickly.
