tachiaus starts with ... Hi, I have a acerola cherry tree that I've grown in pots for several years. Over the last couple weeks the leaves have turned yellow and developed spot's over them as per the attached photos. Any idea what this is? I live up North in the tropics and it's currently our cooler season (20 degrees or so). Any help would be appreciated.

denise1 says... Leaf drop is common to acerola, though mainly triggered by drying out a bit also when it is about to come into a new flush of leaves, flowers, and hopefully some fruit. Maybe time to give it some fertilizer to fuel the expected growth. A balanced fertiliser with minerals including boron and iron unless iron is high already in your soul. Also a bit of lime on the soil each year if needed. | About the Author denise1 auckland NZ 10th June 2018 6:27am #UserID: 6832 Posts: 688 View All denise1's Edible Fruit Trees |
