Ricado starts with ... If anyone in Adelaide has a couple of spare Edranol, Sharwil or Zutano scions to sell or swap for Hass scions it would be appreciated. I have an 11 foot Hass avocado with only a relatively small amount of fruit. I suspect the tree may need a polliniser but I am open to advice about that. It may be a bit late now but I am considering grafting a B type scion onto the Hass as I don't have room for a second tree. | About the Author Ricado PLYMPTON,5038,SA 3rd February 2022 10:50pm #UserID: 28824 Posts: 4 View All Ricado's Edible Fruit Trees |

Ricado says... Thanks for the reply. Yes - I am a member of the RFS (SA) and attended the last meeting which was the small group information session. There were no Edranol, Sharwil or Zutano scions on offer. There was a very small amount of Ryan and Shepard scions which were quickly snapped up. The RFS did kindly put in their monthly Newsletter that I am seeking a couple of Edranol scions to graft onto the Hass. No-one has responded - yet. It may be that not many people grow Edranol avocados here. The irony is that on the RFS website - the polliniser listed for Hass is Edranol. | About the Author Ricado PLYMPTON,5038,SA 7th February 2022 6:43pm #UserID: 28824 Posts: 4 View All Ricado's Edible Fruit Trees |
