Does anyone know of, or have, Lower chill varieties of Asimina triloba for purchase in Australia. I have 2 but their chill requirement seems to be more than most years where I am at Canungra SEQ where chill hours vary from 350 most years to 450 on occasional colder years.

Hi Mgoul

There are only 3 N.A. pawpaw varieties so far that only require less than 400 chill hours for successful fruit setting namely; Duckworth A, Duckworth B and Rebecca's Gold developed in Northern California, USA. I'm not sure if any of those CVS are available in OZ whether in private or commercial. You might as well get in touch with asimina Triloba seed sellers in America if you are desperate for one. There are also pawpaw clubs in the US where you can make inquiries.
Happy gardening 😎
