bernadine says... Thanks John - I was surprised that they were nesting there as the soil is so damp - but I put mulch around last week and that's when they seem to have moved in... I have now noticed aphids and I know that ants and aphids go hand in hand - i am busy transferring ladybugs to the trees - I will see what happens.
