Hi
I am in Dubbo central NSW and want to put in an apricot but find it very difficult to control fruit fly here. I know they move in about 20th December. Is there an apricot which will fruit in November or early December to avoid fruit fly?

My Newcastle early used to fruit in November, but still got fruit fly. Don't know if there is an earlier one, but there probably is - try Google.

Seasons seem to have changed, as it doesn't fruit till December now. It is a low chill variety, but may be hard to get - not 'fashionable' any more.
