Markmelb says... Finally for you - wheres your region? were they from a named variety? Mine started at 6yo - fruit are interesting flavours ut still prefer Cherimoya - dont eat too many at once as the chemical in them ot good in if you do for nerve system. I think its Annonycin? Velella starts with ... Have a need to brag. After 18 years from purchase of seeds in Kentucky USA. I now have a crop on my American pawpaw. The tree about 3 metres talll has 15 fruit. Velella says... The seeds of the pawpaw were described as a “ superior variety” ; no name. Purchased from Kentucky , USA All annonaceae family are reputed to have neural toxicity.
