I planted avocado plant last sping after loosing once previous winter.
I am from kalkallo in victoria. We have an issue of damaging wind from north. And frosty mornings during winter.
I dont know what to do now? First all leaves turned into brown and then fallen. The top brach is turning black.Should i still plant avocado there ?Or how can i stop wind? Or should i plant something else there that can stand against wind, and bad soil. Something really hardy.I already planted pomegranate, cheery, plum, orange and lime on other sides.

Hello,
What variety do you have? Variety might be the problem.
I would recommend the Bacon Variety. Big Fruit, Self Fertile, Hardy to -5C.
Enjoy Gardening
