Best Pomegranate / your experiences (forum)

Hi, I bought a Rosavaya pomegranate a fair few years ago and only just had the opportunity to plant it in the ground (it stayed in the pot). At the time it was known as one of the better or best tasting varieties. Since I just planted it, I was thinking this is probably the best chance to change varieties (rather than digging out later). What are people's thoughts and experiences on the best tasting variety at the moment?
