They will fruit in Brisbane. Buy a grafted plant and you wont need two. Two would increase the number of fruit though (and the number of seeds). Grafted fruits will bear much quicker than seedlings and be more managable in their growth habits.

Hi guys - do you know if I bought my plant from daleys will it be grafted? I can't see any obvious graft. Also, I know this has probably been answered in other forums,but how do you tell male from female plants? My plant seems to have individual flowers rather than clusters, but the flower petals appear brown instead of white (the flowers attached were removed because the tree was too small but then next lot are doing the same thing). Thanks for any help,

The flowers shown in that photo are female- you can tell because of its large calyx :)
