Seen today at Bunnings South Penrith: bananas (some dwarf) Cavendish, Lady Finger, Pisang Ceylan, Red Dacca.

Also double grafted citrus, Meyer Lemon with either Tahitian Lime or Washington Navel Orabge.

A double graft is when two different varieties or cultivar of plant are put onto the same rootstock.

This company sells multigraft fruit trees. http://www.fruitsaladtrees.com/

A double graft has limitations . One graft can dominate and take over. It is often the "sucker option" for people who do not know a lot and think "what a great idea"

on a 2 year old post, good luck. Luckily if you click on the fruitsaladtree link, the phone number is on the left hand side. Most nurseries, even Bunnings will often have these now

I believe that it is better to plant two trees in one hole if you lack room. As virginny said, you could end up with the dominant graft taking over and you would end up with just one variety.
