Buy Medlar - Mespilus germanica (forum)

I've been looking for Medlar (Mespilus germanica) plants to buy but can't seem to find any sources. I was wondering if anyone has any that they would like to sell, or knows where I can buy some. I live in Melbourne.
Thanks!

Either wait for Daleys winter catalogue where they'll no doubt sell some or check out yalca fruit trees as I'm sure they'd have at least one variety in stock to start with.

Yalca currently have semi dwarf Medlars in stock, grow to about 3 metres I believe. I've also seen advanced ones offered on Gumtree occasionally that were located in Melbourne.

I feel like I might have seen one available for sale recently. The two nurseries that I visit regularly are Bulleen Art and Garden on Manningham Road and Colchester Nursery in Kilsyth. I think it may have been at Bulleen Art and Garden I saw it. Either way you can look them up and give them a call to find out if they sell them. Hope that helps you :)

How did you go with finding a medlar? I was at Colchester Nursery during the week and they had a few medlars there, the variety was called 'Dutch'. They didn't have a price on them but you can always call and ask!
