Is there more than one variety of Capulin Cherry? The one at Maldon(Vic.) that I am trying to key-out has 'smelly' flowers, such that no-pollinator will go to 'em; hence, no fruits(so far); it looks 10 or more yuears old, 7ms ht and prolific in flower; ALSO, they have a 'Heart-shaped'(not indented!)leaf Fig, but noone knows how it came to Australia, or where from; its fruiting first and earliest, and prolifically! Anyone know what this South Asian looking leaf Fig is?? Joe A Friend Agroecologist

Post a picture of the fig?. There's heaps of selected varieties of Capulins but none of them in Australia as far as I've seen. Getting another capulin if you think it needs a pollinator is easy. Either from seed or graft a bit on, they only take a few years to fruit from seed but they should be self fertile
