True Cardamom. Has anyone had any success growing True Cardamom from seed? I've been given a couple of Cardamom plants and believe them all to be Cinnamon Ginger/False Cardamom.
Also, how can you tell the difference between them when they are small/young and have not flowered yet? Thank you.

True cardamon is a large growing rare tropical plant .. if you got your plant from a local market I would be very doubtful .
The cardamom pods sold for cooking are picked when unripe so the seeds will not grow if you try to sow them.
