We had a cheese tree Glochidion ferdinandi removed from our garden as it was crowding out other trees. we were unable to drill holes in the stump to kill it as it was too hard.
we now have endless runs of sucker roots from the stump with new growth appearing all over the garden. we would appreciate any advise that would help us to tackle this invasive problem. Many thanks

I think they are native and certainly common in the wet tropics.I would be drilling holes to deliver discouragement.
