Cherry toms so bitter? (forum)

M Nash starts with ...
Why are my various cherry tomatoes growing wild around my gardens so bitter?
The "orrible" taste lasts longer than cod liver oil.
Bitter right at the back of the throat
I have the red northern rivers volcanic soil.
Please help, Im about to give up.
Cant grow a chili in it iether, stunted growth.
I grow all my super hots in pots with a made up black soil.

Have to agree Amanda, tomatoes like both sulphate of potash and a bit of superphosphate. That's what I used on mine to win first prize at the Mackay Regional Show last year :-)
