Citrus Tree Espalier

Hi, I'm interested in espalier or fan trianing citrus trees does anybody have any good advice for me? Joe.

From what i understand ,espalier involves much shaping and pruning. If a fruit tree is a tip producer one would be removing fruit during the needed pruning. Does that help?
