Are the berries of the curry leaf tree edible? I have tasted them on my tongue and they are delicious but would like to know if they are safe to swallow.

Look at this link and decide if you have the same tree. http://www.plantoftheweek.org/week129.shtml
People cannot (should not) advise others to eat tree/shrub/flowers/berries etc as one would be liable at law should they be harmed by ingesting them. This is especially true when you do not give the botanical name of the species.
There are many varieties known by such common names as 'curry leaf' including a herb which we have use for eating purposes.

If it is the real curry leaf tree which you are refering to, then yes you can eat the berries. But, they are not usually eaten. Breaking the berries off from the stem does make the tree produce more branches.
