Glen Fergus starts with ... Despite appearances*, Daley's courier WILL NOT DELIVER TO RURAL ADDRESSES, even ones just 7 km from a major town. You'll have to attend at a "depot" to collect. Where and when? You won't be told; ring and ask. And if you happen to be away for a few days (as I am), your plants will either take their chances in their dark closed box, or even be returned to Daleys. (* I doubt that a little "Learn More" link on an order page constitutes anything like the level of disclosure required under Australian consumer law.) | About the Author Glen Fergus Urliup 8th May 2014 3:03pm #UserID: 9916 Posts: 2 View All Glen Fergus's Edible Fruit Trees |

Glen Fergus says... Don't know (but likely, surely?). You need to ask, but in fairness Daley's probably don't know and probably can't easily find out. The Couriers Please call centre isn't much help either (gave us incorrect information), but they certainly know what addresses they do and don't service, and will say if you're persistent enough. They appear to sub-contract Tweed district (and most rural?) to Australia Post, so if you have a post PARCEL delivery service, that may work. If not, NOT. | About the Author Glen Fergus Urliup 17th May 2014 9:21pm #UserID: 9916 Posts: 2 View All Glen Fergus's Edible Fruit Trees |
Jantina says... They don't deliver to my place either (17 kms out of town) but I got around that by getting them to deliver to some-one I know in town. That has worked well for me except for one time the driver just left my parcel at a random house. Luckily they wee nice people and brought the parcel around to the correct address on the box. | About the Author Jantina Mt Gambier 18th May 2014 11:57am #UserID: 1351 Posts: 1272 View All Jantina's Edible Fruit Trees |
