Disease in Figs (forum)

Marjo starts with ...
I have planted some fig trees from your nursery. One at my mothers in the ground and I have one in a pot. Please see the photos for the disease they have. I have used several sprays on them but the disease persists. One is a copper one for fungicide. Can you please tell me what this is.

Your pictures did not come through but I bet it is rust, as it's practically the only common disease. Use copper sprays when trees are dormant.

lenn if you click the blue ? icon the picture would still load... as for the browning of the fig leaves, my black genoa had it quite bad but still produced good quality fruit. This season it just disappeared; not sure if it had anything to do with my spraying with white oil. I must confess I'm a white oil addict :)
