Does tabebuia survive frost?

I have a beautiful young tabebuia palmeri in my front yard, I planted it around 6 months ago, it’s around 2 Meters high now and nice and healthy. I’ve just read online they’re sensitive to frost. Has anyone had any experience growing this tree? I live in the Lockyer valley and we do get the occasional frost during winter. Will it be ok?!

Hi Rebeccaper, A light frost would be okay but below -1C you would need to protect the tree with a frost guard.
