Jake65 starts with ... Our dwarf Wurz avacado has gone droopy - particularly the branches - after the heavy rain last week. It was standing at least a 45 cm taller. We are on red soil in the Wollongbar area, however, quite a lot of water comes through the retaining wall behind. The ground currently feels damp but not waterlogged to fingertip depth. Note the tree did this after the rain bomb in February 22. Then I cut it right back because it seemed too leggy anyway. It was growing really well until last week and seemed healthy. I just gave it some Seasol. Not sure what to do. Will it bounce back, or is it going to collapse when we get the next heavy rain? Thinking I might need to dig it out and make a raised bed. Thoughts appreciated. | About the Author Jake65 WOLLONGBAR,2477,NSW 31st October 2022 8:54am #UserID: 31458 Posts: 1 View All Jake65's Edible Fruit Trees |
