RUSS,It grows true alright. I look at the 2 in my yard that are quite a few years old and they are really different from the big type.
The 3 forms of this species are quite distinctive in many characteristics.

That's awesome news, I asked the guy at limber lost and he tells me they don't and he is normally reliable. I had a sneaky suspicion they did. Thanks Mike I have 5 left now all about 25cm at 1 and a half months. I'm scared to give them away every time I give something to someone they kill it. None of my mates or family have the same interests as me anymore, since my accident all I do now is play in my garden. I don't mind.

Russ if that was Neill you are giving him too much credit. Some standard dwarf ambarellas get to 3 or 4 m still but not 20m like the big ones.True dwarfs grow true, created ones by pruning or grafting onto particular rootstocks are untrue.

They are extremely easy to propagate by cuttings (side shoots), if you want to swell your numbers.

Any secrets on germinating rosella seeds? Tried two years in a row from my own seed, do they need any special keeping needs between seasons?

I just soak the seed over night they should sprout a little root then plant, I don't seem to have any dramas doing this.
