Patti starts with ... Hi guys, I'm curious if there is Ok Rong or Okrung mango in Australia at all.I'm originally from Thailand, and I miss this mango a lot. It's very common in Thailand to eat it ripe with a sweetened sticky rice.Even though some people like Nam Doc Mai for this dessert,Ok Rong/Okrung is actually more traditional and taste better,at least for me:-) If anyone would have a clue of there I can buy it,please let me know,I would really appreciate it a lot | About the Author Patti1 Brisbane 6th April 2013 8:35pm #UserID: 4089 Posts: 7 View All Patti1's Edible Fruit Trees |

Mike says... Come to think of it I don't know if I have ever seen genuine Ok rung in Australia.Plenty of NDM and keow saweoy however and some thai green eating types.Sam ru du like in the picture is perhaps the closest.I have some in the fruit bowl now but you can't get trees.
