Hi, I'm keen to try growing Finger limes outdoors in Canberra.

Can anyone suggest a particular variety that can cope in the cold ?

Any other tips on general care would be great

Thanks

Ive got a few finger limes here... Im inland at Jervis Bay, and we get good frosts here... probably not as cold as you though.
Ive planted mine next to some other trees in my garden, just to give them some shelter from cold winds ect.
Mine are the grafted ones bought from Daleys 2 years ago... and Ive had about 20 or so fruit from them. There were some still on the trees, and after a recent cold snap, I noticed that they all went bright red, and pinkish inside.... very yum!

Hi Juz..thanks for the reply. I think I'll give the grafted ones a go.

When would be a good time of year to put them in ?
