fruit tree which can grow in shade initially

what fruit tree can grow in shade initially but can get sun light once it grows to around 3-4 meter.. i have west facing spot but covered by building so need something which can grow tall so get sun later when it grows enough..
I want to try some tropical/subtropical fruit trees..not sure which one can thrive in this conditions...

Starfruit would probably work well.
Also Asimina triloba, though it needs cross-pollination for fruit-set.
Davidson plums would also work (tall and thin tree, acidic fruit).
