Hi,
I am taking a trip to Brisbane next month and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good nurseries that sell tropicals. I wanted to get the following plants:

Noni fruit
Cassia Fistula
philodendrum lacerum & Burle Marx
Rangoon Creeper

Thanks

I dont like your chances of finding the Ackee here. You'd need to go to Cairns for that. The others may be at Northey Street (edibles), Palms for Brisbane, Nova Gardens, Turners. Best to phone around, as they are not always stocked. I did see Rangoon Creeper at Nova 2 weeks ago, and they have a few different cassia. Never looked for noni or the philodenron

I think the nusery you meant is just across from Sunnybankhill not Sunnybank. The suburb it is in is Algester.

Oh, about Noni.... I have a rotting fruit inside a plastic bag which I left in my garden for the past 2 months. The bag is still there. May be there are some viable seeds which I can extract.

Are you thinking of Templex Nusery at Algester? Ph (07) 3273 3035. The owners are Chinese who like dragons.
I think Don Burke may have paid a visit there in the past?
