Lachlann says... From Louis Glowinski; The Complete Book of Fruit Growing in Australia: "Propogation is by grafting on to D. kaki seedlings." "Scions are selected at mid-winter, stored at 0 degrees C and then grafted when the stock is already growing vigorously in summer. Two bud scions are whip-grafted, taped and enclosed in plastic bags to prevent dessication. Several varieties can be grafted onto the same tree using the same technique." | About the Author Lachlann South Coast NSW 9th May 2008 9:06pm #UserID: 873 Posts: 33 View All Lachlann's Edible Fruit Trees |
