grafted dwaft pomegranate tree (forum)

After reading all the health benefits of consuming pomegranate, I am interested in growing one. Since i only have a courtyard and am limited in space, i am enquiring about the availability of a dwarf pomegranate tree that i could grow in a large pot. Could i also be informed on the success in growing one in Melbourne and also the yield?

I have seen something about a dwarf pomegranate somewhere but my memory of it was that it was not an eating variety in particular, however pomegranates are only fairly small trees as a rule (about 3x3 metres) and I'm sure one would do well in a pot as that would naturally dwarf it further. I have an Elcite - apparently it is a semi-dwarf variety with yummy tasting yellow fruit. I also have the nana variety (really small dwarf variety)..the fruits are too small to eat on that one lol
