They are a sort of musk melons. The ones I ate (when I lived in Singapore) were very succulent and sweet - imported from China. Personally, I prefer them to the rockmelons or honeydew melons sold here in Perth.

Ask Agriculture Western australia if ts permissable to import Cucumis melo seeds
if they say ok
Have a relative post clean dry seeds, free of pulp in a clean new packet with "cucumis melo" written clearly on it,
in a padded envelope,
with a label saying contains seeds on the outside
Then you wll have your seeds :D
WA is more restrctive
but on a federal level ive imported Melon seeds before - no problem
