I have a couple of poor specimens. They haven't been looked after & we are on pure sand. I am going to prune them down & you are welcome to a piece. They aren't difficult to grow; mine came from a couple of pieces stuck into the ground.
cheers
JD

Hi JD. I have put cuttings in to pots over the years and have been able to propergate them to the stage that after 2 years the growth actually had flowers on them but i have found that any slight movement of the trunk while transplanting to the garden bed will KILL the plant! [ why i dont know]
I have found the most successful way to propergate them is by seed and transplant when approx 600mm high. transplant them.email me and i will send you some seeds and instructions,

PS forgot
our climate here on the coastal plane is preaty much the same as Qld. On average with Drumstick, from germination to approx fruiting & approx 2m high is 12months, how is that for speed?
