    2 responses

Ricky Bobby starts with ...
Hi has any one come across bugs the cant see chewing up their plants? They are getting stuck into the new growth on one of my avocados.

I put some david grays powder on it but that seems to be burning the leaves adding to the problem.

Any help would be great!

Could it be grasshoppers Ricky? Try a diluted molasses spray http://www.annettemcfarlane.com/Doityourself.htm

As for the burnt leaves, give it extra Sulphate of Potash, liquid, powder or granulated. Avos like gypsum as well.

Hi brendan I have been keeping a close eye out for all bugs I have two other Avos and heaps more trees next to it that are untouched.

The holes in the leaves start out really small then they just keep growing like there is some kind of mites on them.

Will give what you recommended a go thanks.
