jack fruit

my jack fruit is 2 years old and i have had to keep it supported seems that the root base and trunk are not strong enough to hold the top
i am on clay soil but dug a large hole added gypsum lots of premium plant soil and mulch all other trees going well
what do ido or is this normal

I have noted that many young jakfruit trees have thin trunks, but they will thicken their trunks when it comes to fruiting. The best you can do is keep the height trimmed enough so it wont topple and leave it to nature.
