Hello,

I am from Adelaide and I am looking for the following fruit trees.

A Japanese peach tree variety called "Shimizu White Peach" and a Japanese Mikan variety "Harehime" or "Kiyomi". Is anyone able to help me.

Thank you

Matt

Okinawa white peach is avail in Australia, a couple of other white peaches have been mentioned on this forum.
There are also white peaches available in the supermarket. Maybe you could research the actual variety they are or their origin. Japanese peaches are closer to nectarines in flavor than the common yellow peaches in Australia.
Not sure if they are going to be close enough.
I have never heard of Kiyomi or Harehime in Australia. Kiyomi is a Satsuma x Orange cross and Harehime is a Kiyomi x Tangelo x Satsuma cross.
The closest I can think of is several types of Satsuma mandarin or Sumo mandarin available in Australia.
Again, not exactly what you are looking for. Then again a lot of the fruit in Japan is grown under better conditions and care than can be achieved here.
ie Fuji apple is twice as big and tastes nicer in Japan.
Have you collected anything else yet ???
