Kumquat tree questions

    4 responses

Hello everyone,

I have this kumquat tree in a pot (See attached pics) and it appears to be lacking some minerals.

Could anyone confirm if this true, and please point out other problems from the pics if possible,
Big thank you to all comments.

My cumquat leaves have the same look as your first pic. I have been told that it is a magnesium deficiency. I have tried epsom salts which may have helped a little though not totally sorted.

You could have a look at this site and compare the pics and descriptions against your tree http://www.dpi.nsw.gov.au/agriculture/horticulture/citrus/management/nutrition/quick-reference-guide.

Also seems as though you might have citrus leaf miner on the younger leaves

Thanks a lot Slicko for the helpful links, and also Grant for your reply.
Looks like its mainly nutritional deficiency then.
