The gigi starts with ... Hi, Our tree is a few years old, has produced four oranges, which were on tree at purchase from nursery. It was doing so well, and over the last few days the leaves have started curling. It has beautiful white flowers on it, which are starting to die and fall off. What am I doing wrong here! I want this tree to live. We’ve given it nutrients provided by the nursery of purchase, please tell me what I need to do?

Jaraed says... I see what you mean with the leaves curling but I wouldn't be concerned yet just keep an eye on it if it gets worse and is accompanied by leaf drop or leaf discolouration. In terms of the flowers falling off they do that naturally and sometimes quite quickly other times you get flowers for a bit longer. If the fruit is still on the tree the flower has done its Jon. The gigi says... I think it’s resolving itself. The weather keeps changing, and because it’s small, it appears to be adjusting. I’ve put a nitrogen stick in the soil, and that seems to have not caused any issues as well. It’s being watered every other day. I think it needed water, so I made that adjustment and will keep an eye on it. Hummingbirds and bees have been busy pollinating it almost every day! Thumbs up and fingers crossed, she seems to be on the mend!!! Jaraed says... Glad you are noticing an improvement. One thing I will say is to have a look at some of the commercial trees. Sure citrus are great as ornamentals and its good to know what makes a healthy tree but these trees are quite tough and will tolerate a lot, there are a few things you need to look out for such as rot though but your trees look wouldnt suggest that as an issue to me.
