I planted my lemonade tree approximately 5 years ago and it has periods of looking unhealthy. Every time that the fruit are ripening the skin turns brown and goes hard, although the fruit are still tasty enough. Am I leaving them too long before picking?
The tree was planted in a raised bed and is regularly fertilised and mulched. Please advise. Yhank you

Thats weird. Brown skin normally means the fruit is too old and going rotten.
