Hi, I am doing an assignment for school and can't find any websites with the information I need! I need to get answers to these questions about lychees-
When is the sowing period of a lychee?
How is a lychee harvested?
Does the soil need to be prepared in a specific way for this crop to grow?
What are the properties of a lychee?(does it pose any significance to sociey- vegetarian supplement ect.)


PLEASE HELP! and if you have a website containing any of the answers to this please tell.

It was rumoured that the Japanese Emperor during WW2 promised Japanese soldiers that they will have endless supply of Lychee if the managed to conquer China.

Dunno how they are harvested .... plucked from the trees I s'posed.....
