MacNut problems

Can anyone please advise what pest(?) or disease (?)and my dwarf Macadamia Nut tree is suffering, resulting in a skin forming on the leaves which becomes an air bubble and eventually dries out to a brown, dead spot on the leaves (see picture). Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
cheers

It is some type of leaf miner which lives inside the two layers of leaves. Probably have to cut all affected leaves off, if you use a systemic insecticide you'll grow poisoned nuts.

Being a native tree it has many pests that attack it . pest oil should help with leaf miners , an organic one can be made with canola oil and detergent , check bromeliad site fcbs.org and search there for oil spray ,, a mate from Townsville who was a Uni lecturer worked out the recipe , works well .
