Hi, I brought an blood orange tree, and although it is looking beautiful and fruiting well, the fruit is not sweet. I know they like cold weather and I have planted it near Gosford (I brought it when I lived in a colder area and didn't get to plant it there, so it came with me).
Is there anything I can do/feed to improve the taste of the oranges?
thanks

Yes Jen, it needs a feed of Epsom Salts (sorry amanda:-). A handful per sq metre under the canopy, and water in.
Mix 30g epsom salts to 4

Actually, blood oranges do not take cold weather and will not develop "blood' in cooler climes. Give it your warmest spot and if no "blood" develops they still have a distinctive taste.
