SAndy Leigh starts with ... Does anyone know where I can get pakalaka trees? May be called something else?? It is a large soft wood shade tree with broad leaves and small yellow bottle brush type flowers. You'll usually find one in an old dairy or pig yard. Ours is ancient and has collapsed in the middle and I'd like to replace it. | About the Author SAndy Leigh HAIGSLEA 19th May 2017 1:10pm #UserID: 16172 Posts: 5 View All SAndy Leigh's Edible Fruit Trees |

Linton says... I think the correct spelling is Packalacca and it's commonly called Ombu (Phytolacca dioica). There are a couple of old Ombu trees near where I live and one is heritage listed. Diggers Club currently have them for sale for $12.95. https://www.diggers.com.au/shop/ornamentals-and-flowers/argentine-ombu/waro/ | About the Author Linton NOBLE PARK,3174,VIC 22nd May 2017 2:19pm #UserID: 2286 Posts: 994 View All Linton's Edible Fruit Trees |
