Sev starts with ... I need to know exactly how to propagate papaya trees from cuttings. Once we cut the tree trunk, and new sprouts come out, what's the right time to cut them? After cutting them, should we put them in water for some time, Or directly in the potting mixture? We tryed to make a papaya propagation this way, and the sprout was placed in water about three weeks ago, but it hasn't rooted at all. How long should this take? Is there any other step we should follow in this process? I'll appreciate if someone with experience in this papaya method of propagation will help me.
