Persimmon young leaves curling up (forum)

I bought a Fuyu persimmon tree from Daleys in May 2025 and planted it in the current spot. It grew happily last spring but this year I noticed that young leaves got brown spots and curling up. I live in south west Sydney and I was told Fuyu would happily grow here. I checked soil moisture regularly and couldn’t see a problem there. I didn’t spray with anything and haven’t used any fertiliser since planting last year. I don’t know what to do and would appreciate any advice. Thanks
