Sue starts with ... Has anyone had success with treating dieback (Phytophthora) without powerrful toxins? So far pawpaws, eggplants, avocados and stone fruits as well as local Angophoras and Grevilleas have been afflicted. The soil is deep sandy loam and highly elevated (no chance of stagnant water even in heavy rain). thanks Sue | About the Author Sue3 Yugar 25th August 2007 8:48pm #UserID: 264 Posts: 1 View All Sue3's Edible Fruit Trees |
Ruth says... How toxic is phosphorous acid (FolRFos,or AntiRot)? I had/have an avo seedling that's affected and that's what was recommended - my understanding is that the only breakdown product is phosphorous... It doesn't seem to need pooling, just enough rain to fill soil pores for a while - we are on clayey soil but on quite a slope. | About the Author Ru Lismore 9th September 2007 10:18pm #UserID: 294 Posts: 1 View All Ru's Edible Fruit Trees |
