Rocoto tree chilli (forum)

Hi there! Have been enviously browsing the Daley's website for things we can't have sent to WA-very frustrating! We need a special section on things we CAN have sent over!
Was wondering if anyone knows where Rocotto tree chillis are available around Perth or if someone would like to sell some seeds?
Has anyone tried growing them here? Any luck?
thanks to anyone who can help
Kath

Tomato yellow leaf curl virus is the problem, seeds are OK to enter.

You would have to look on the AQIS website for overseas seed.

Thanks very much Arthur but I think I will try & get some from within Australia-WA is pretty strict-with good reason- re quarantine. I have just spoken to a lady from AQIS (thanks John)-the seeds would have to be commercially packed & labelled, declared & then examined on arrival so I will have to hunt within Australi. Growing tips would be great though-do they really live for ten years and how big & hot are the chillies?
thanks for your help,Kath
