Grannys421 starts with ...
My dwarf shahtoot mulberry has shoots coming from underground. This happened while I was in hospital and now they are quite large. Is it OK if I remove them?

Remove them for sure - they'll be rootstock suckers, and may become more vigorous than the grafted Shatoot.
