Tara starts with ... hi, please check out this link, this is the sandpaper fig i ordered a few days ago: http://www.daleysfruit.com.au/plant/Sandpaper-Fig-Ficus-Coronata.htm i ordered it thinking it would be suitable for australian climate considering it is native to australia. however, i did not consider that it is a rainforest tree and this concerned me later. do you think i have ordered the wrong fig for melbourne climate? cheers, tara. | About the Author Tara Melbourne 18th January 2009 7:16pm #UserID: 1883 Posts: 8 View All Tara's Edible Fruit Trees |

Ellen says... this plant is so decidous, me and my friend we both ordered this plant too back in Aug 08 I've kept my in a bigger pot, and it's fruiting now, and the plant hasn't grown past my wasteline yet. However in this heat waves we've been experiencing lately down here in Sydney, the new growths /tips have been scorched. So I think Melbourne too is a good place for it. I've kept mine in direct sunny spot, as this plant loves it. | About the Author Ellen Smithfield, NSW 25th January 2009 12:15am #UserID: 1339 Posts: 309 View All Ellen's Edible Fruit Trees |
