Seed/ Plant I.D.?

    2 responses

Came across a really large rainforest tree fruit/seed and could not see who the parent tree was at it was dence rainforest attached to my cousins farm near Springbrook! The seeds/fruit are very large, the size of a cricket ball; they have a 'deep red' fruity husk (that the local animals were eating) about 1/2 cm thick over a very large seed sort of like an avocado seed! They sprouted easily and relatively quickly and seem to want to grow very fast too! Any suggestions and or photo's would be appreciated if anyone out there can help me I.D. the plants.
